(Past Event) I Can, You Can, We Can: Strengthen Students in Response to Racism

Surrey Together Against Racism (STAR), led by MOSAIC, invites SFU students to join an event for discussing anti-racism.

In the event, students will:

• Discuss ways for responding to racial discrimination and hate incidents
• Watch brief presentations from legal education and counselling support professionals
• Share their concerns, ask questions, and get answers from the professionals

STAR will:

• Listen to the students
• Note the students’ concerns and questions while ensuring confidentiality
• Communicate the noted details with the Government of British Columbia to promote further support for those negatively affected by racism
