We’re bringing back our #MyBestAdvice event!

Please join us on November 14 to learn from SFU alumni and students who have been recognized by Business in VancouverBCBusiness, Surrey Board of Trade or SFU.

This event provides a fantastic opportunity to interact with—and learn from—fellow alumni working in a variety of fields! Here are three ways you’ll be learning and connecting:

1. Panel discussions

Panelists will be asked about their experiences as students at SFU (e.g. hands-on experience that sparked interest), their source of inspiration for pursuing careers in health (what was their “calling?”), advice for young professionals and students, and more!

  • Panel 1: Leadership in Health and Wellness
  • Panel 2: Responsible Business Leadership

2. Structured networking

SFU alumni award recipients will host small table groups for networking and discussion. Attendees will have opportunity to cycle through 2 pre-assigned table groups. Table hosts will be provided facilitating questions to help guide group discussions.

3. Open networking

After the formal networking, attendees will be given 30 minutes to an hour to continue conversations previously had, and to meet with new people.
