• Receive event invitations for events happening where you live; stop receiving invitations happening in locations where you do not reside or work.
• Discover professional development and volunteer opportunities.
• Find out updates from your faculty/department, updates on fellow alumni and news/research from SFU.
• Learn about alumni discounts (like the Whitecaps FC and the PNE) and preferred rates from our affinity partners (travel/dental/home insurance, alumni credit card, etc.)

Share your expertise

• Faculties/departments look to connect with alumni who work in certain fields and/or a particular geographic location. This may be in the form of you being interviewed for an article, judging a competition or even being invited to speak at an event.

• How many alumni live in the UK? In Asia? In Canada? We know alumni live around the globe, you can help us keep our stats up-to-date.

Provide feedback

• Faculties, departments and SFU may look for your feedback based on the industry you work in. This feedback would be in the form of inviting you to fill out a survey, participate in a focus group and/or being interviewed.
• If you received a bursary, award or scholarship as a student, we may reach out to see what you are up to for a story or a message we are writing to or about a donor.
