Office Ergonomics
Training
Office Ergonomics training has been developed for all SFU employees who perform computer work. It's purpose is to inform employees of common musculoskeletal injuries, ergonomics risk factors associated with computer work, and teach them how to set up a comfortable and safe workspace.

Workstation Assessments
The WorksafeBC Regulation "Ergonomics Requirements: Part 4" requires that SFU assesses workstations and work activities.
EHRS conducts assessments and provides recommendations via email or a report if required. Supervisors are expected to follow up on recommendations.
SFU employees are strongly encouraged to complete the Office Ergonomics Training before requesting an assessment.
Prior to submitting a request for an office ergonomics assessment, please complete the Ergonomics Self-Assessment Checklist. The completed pdf can be uploaded with the webform linked below.
