Winter weather is unpredictable, but your preparedness doesn’t have to be! Be ready for whatever weather comes your way this winter!
Know where to access important campus information and updates to help you plan and stay safe.

Check your local media, Environment Canada, Emergency Info BC and your local municipality for additional supports during periods of severe weather.

Campus Public Safety (CPS) is available 24/7, even during winter break. The Lone Worker Program (LWP) and Safe Walk program are also open to support you on campus.
To reduce greenhouse gases emissions over the break, thermostats and ventilation rates will be lowered in most buildings. If you will be occupying your area over the closure, email Facilities Services by December 13, 2024 at fmserv@sfu.ca. Include the following details: Date/s and time/s of presence, building name, room numner, and phone number of contact person.
