Limitations of this project:

• lack of water chemistry (quality) data
• length of the differing vegetation zones from water bodies
• areas of high human and cattle impact
• complete data regarding all water bodies of the region
• information related to whether the size of water bodies was based on data during the early spring or summer months
• more specific information regarding road type (paved, unpaved, private access etc)
• Better resolution regarding the activites occurring at smaller water bodies
• information related to where the tiger salamander actually inhabitats to verify results of the MCE

Overall, more specific information regarding the size of water bodies and the time of year the data was gathered would greatly aide the development of a more representative output. Since this information was unavailable some water bodies may have been excluded or included in the "suitable water body size" factor which was one of the most important and heavily weighted factors.
