SFU Partners with CCDI to Host UnConference Vancouver

As part of SFU’s ongoing commitment to improving equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across its campuses, the university is partnering with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) to host UnConference Vancouver at SFU Harbour Centre on February 11, 2020. 

Presenters Cathy Gallagher-Louisy and Anne-Marie Pham will hold a full day of workshops and presentations that teach practical strategies for being more culturally competent and encourage attendees to foster inclusion both in the workplace and in the world at large.

SFU previously worked with CCDI to conduct the Diversity Meter initiative, and the university is excited to strengthen this partnership further as it moves towards ensuring that SFU is a place of belonging, inclusion, fairness and mutual respect for everyone.
