Bike Shed Resources

The owners of the neighbouring property have decided to build a house with a similar character to the Richards House, using similar materials. As building materials are most economically purchased and delivered in bulk, they and the Richards have come to an arrangement to purchase the necessary materials together.

Building materials
The following materials are stored under cover on the Richards site (to leave the neighbours' site clear for their building works), and are available to be used for the shed:

  • 90x35 F5 pinus radiata, 3600mm lengths
  • Carter Holt Harvey 10mm Ecoply, panel sizes 1200x2700
  • 0.42mm Lysaght Custom-orb Colorbond steel roofing.
  • 1 off glazed hinged door with frame (door size 2400 x 900 nom.)
  • 1 off WRC framed window (wall opening size 2400 x 900)


The fixings, cover strips, flashings etc. you may need are not supplied in the model.
