The student is assessed on the following.

• Completion of the three parts of the submission - model, section and annotations
• Functionality of the design
• Construction credibility - stud frame junction with slab; stud frame plates, studs, noggings, bracing; roof/wall junction; wall corners; insertion of door and window into walls; flashings; external cladding arrangement and fixing
• Architectural quality in relation to the house
• Clarity of presentation
• Graphic design quality of presentation
