EMBA goes global
SFU’s executive MBA program is going abroad to ensure students gain an international perspective on business.

The program introduced an annual international field trip in 2004, with New Zealand as the first destination. Students spent five days in Auckland, attending lectures at the University of Auckland and being briefed by officials at various New Zealand businesses.

In 2005, the program will travel to Italy, the host country for the 2006 Winter Olympics. Executive MBA program director Diane Cross expects the students will gain a valuable perspective on issues and opportunities related to the Winter Olympics, which will be held in Vancouver-Whistler in 2010.
