776 on the last day of service on the 9 Richland. Route 9 was a small branch off of the 14 Mission. The following day new route 49 began operating on Mission St. and Van Ness St. replacing Route 12. Muni added short turns to Persia St. replacing the #9 runs along Mission St., probably adding more service to Mission St. Later, the short was extended to the Lowell St. Loop. Onandaga St. was used route 12 Muni streetcars from 1945 until the demise of the streetcar line and it was used by route 14 Mission streetcars going to Geneva Carhouse until the Mission lines were bustituted. Onandaga St. was also used by alternate K-Ingleside cars until 11 OC 52, when the tracks were removed. Photo by Peter Ehrlich. 8 OC 06.
