The action of water on Mars

The action of water on Mars in the past is evident in its geomorphology. By comparing terrestrial and martian landforms we have been able to identify a range of aqueous environments on Mars in its recent past. A selection of our work in this area includes:

1) The origin of sinuous ridges on Mars [Burr et al. 2009]

2) Flood depositional landforms on Mars [Carling et al. 2009]
