Biography
Before I came to Canada, I worked as a forestry research engineer in China for over a decade. I moved to New Zealand in 1996, and made a career switch to IT and programming, which is where I got my start in the field of online education. Ten years later, I moved to Canada, and continued working in this field at SFU until now.
At SFU, I built and managed hundreds of online course websites in multiple learning management systems, providing support to instructors and students. I am experienced in many different web frameworks and technologies.
In my spare time, I like to sing and play the piano.
