2024 Chinese Bridge Mandarin Singing and Speaking Contest
The vibrant sounds of Mandarin filled the air as dedicated Mandarin-learning students from across the Province of British Columbia gathered in Vancouver for the 2024 Chinese Bridge Mandarin Singing and Speaking Contest on April 20, 2024. Amidst an atmosphere buzzing with anticipation and excitement, participants showcased their linguistic skills and vocal talents, leaving the audience captivated.
In a stunning display of skill and passion, SFU student Erin Liett emerged victorious, claiming the prestigious first prize in the singing category. Her performance impressed both the judges and audience.
Adding to the triumph for SFU, Jinho Baek secured the third prize in the speech category. He displayed linguistic excellence and cultural appreciation through his speech.
