Feeling the Love at SFU’s First Spirit Day

On February 14, SFU celebrated its first Spirit Day! The purpose of this event, led by SFU Ancillary Services, was to celebrate SFU and show our love and pride for our university at all three campuses. One way to do that was to wear our best SFU swag and red clothing. It was great to see so many students, staff, and faculty rocking the colour red and their favourite SFU gear!

Another way to show our love for SFU was to enjoy delicious heart-shaped cookies! Students, staff, and faculty at the Vancouver campus were invited to stop by the Belzberg Library or Registrar and Information Services to pick up a tasty treat. The Vancouver campus was buzzing with energy and school spirit.

The Burnaby and Surrey campuses also had music and dancing with a live DJ, outdoor games, and more. We look forward to expanding activities at the Vancouver campus next year.
