Vendors set up outdoors with multiple people visiting the various vendors' tables at a Welcome Back Community BBQ

SFU’s Vancouver campus plans a variety of events across Downtown Vancouver for students, staff, faculty, and community members. These events reflect the innovative programming, impactful research, and deep community engagement that highlight SFU Vancouver as the "Intellectual Heart of the City", as referred to by the Vancouver Sun. The goal is to build a greater sense of community at the Vancouver campus while providing opportunities for self-care, connection, learning, information-sharing, and fun.
