Kate will be supervised by Peter Hall (senior supervisor) in Urban Studies, Kendra Strauss (Labour Studies), Kathleen Millar (Anthropology) and Rosemary Collard (Geography). She will be supported in her studies by the three-year Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholarship."The Urban Studies program gave me fresh eyes," Kate said. "It's so exciting to be connected to the program as I take this next step in my research." Congratulations, Kate!
- Audrey Guay and Rebecca Gunderson have both won SSHRC-Canada Graduate Scholarships for their master's research. Audrey's research builds on her work with the Metro Vancouver Alliance to reflect on community organizing across diverse groups. Rebecca is investigating the relationship between resilience strategies and reconciliation in settler-Indigenous planning in Metro Vancouver. Congratulations!
