  • Meg Holden and alumna Rebecca Holt have published "Green buildings must do more to fix our climate emergency." The article was featured in The National Post as well as The Conversation
  • Noel Dyck will receive one of the highest honours in Canadian Anthropology, the Weaver-Tremblay Award in Applied Anthropology, at AAA-CASCA 2019 in Vancouver this November.
  • Anthony Perl was quoted in a February 2019 Slate magazine article titled, "There's nothing ridiculous about trains replacing planes."
    Karen Ferguson participated in the Department of History's #SFUHISTREADS event series on March 2, as a panellist discussing Elaine Mokhtefi's book, Algiers, Third World Capital: Freedom Fighters, Revolutionaries, Black Panthers.
