Studying in Canada

I applied for a study permit from outside Canada with a PAL from a different university/college. My study permit was approved, and I am inside Canada now with a study permit. I would like to go to SFU. Do I need to apply for a new study permit with a new PAL from SFU?

No, you don’t need to apply for a new study permit with a new PAL.

To comply with the study permit conditions, you must inform IRCC that you will transfer to SFU by completing the Designated Learning Institution (DLI) Number transfer process online. You can use your current study permit to study at SFU as long as it remains valid.
