Integrating climate risk into decision-making: An integrated assessment model approach

This research project aims to develop and implement integrated assessment models (IAMs) to enhance our understanding of climate-related risks and their implications for decision-making. We will focus on implementing comprehensive models incorporating carbon cycle, climate science, and estimated economic impact. The student will be responsible for the following, among others:

1. Familiarizing themselves with the literature on climate risk and IAMs.
2. Understanding the DICE model and other relevant IAMs.
3. Writing computer code to implement the models.
4. Applying the models to realistic risk assessment scenarios.
5. Documenting all work.
