Harsha Perera won the Excellence in Teaching Award 2021

SFU Statistics and Actuarial Science Lecturer Harsha Perera has won the 2020/2021 Excellence in Teaching Award. The citation reads "Perera teaches a wide variety of statistics courses and incorporates innovative teaching methods such as TopHat. Perera also has a strong teaching-related service record both within his department as undergraduate program chair, and beyond, as a member of the Statistics Education Committee of Statistical Society of Canada." Congratulations Harsha!
