A Day in the Suburbs

Time: 10:00AM–12:30PM

We will walk on the shore of Deer Lake in central Burnaby. Robert Brooke will talk about the plants of the park and – assisted by Leigh and Evelyn Palmer – about the historic houses of the immediate area. Jay and Carolyn Burr will identify birds and bird calls. You can bring your own picnic lunch or purchase lunch and beverages at Encores, the cafe in the Shadbolt Centre.
