WHERE CAN I LEARN ABOUT MY BLUE CROSS BENEFITS?

You can examine your own personal file at Pacific Blue Cross to see your total reimbursements to date, your balance available of the lifetime maximum, the date of your next eligibility for (partial) payment for eyewear, etc.

Visit Pacific Blue Cross Member Services  for details.

WHERE CAN I LEARN ABOUT PENSION-SPLITTING?

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) permits pension splitting for eligible taxpayers. Some of the Association's members have availed themselves of the benefits of pension-splitting and have realized a considerable saving on their income taxes.

In some instances, by choosing pension-splitting, persons have received a REFUND on previous years' taxes. Note carefully: this is not an automatic benefit – you must apply for it.

The Canada Revenue Agency has extensive information of interest to seniors; visit their Seniors’ Topics page here
