It's about the RUSH of adrenaline when the horses break from the gate ...the BLUR of jewel-toned silks as they STREAK by in a THUNDER of hooves ...the breathless ANTICIPATION as your horse comes up on the outside ...

Okay, it's about winning.

When:	Wednesday, July 25, 2001, 5:30 P.M.
Where:	Hastings Park
Parking:	On site, $6.50. Be sure to tell the parking attendant that you are a member of a group attending the races at Hastings Park – you will then be given a voucher for $2.00 which can be used to place a bet.
Cost:	An all-inclusive group rate of $31.54/person – includes admission, official racing program, reserved seating, buffet dinner, taxes, and gratuity.
Reservations:	Reservations MUST be received by June 1. (Note carefully: reservations must be received 7½ weeks prior to the event.) Mail a cheque, postdated to June 15 to: Marg Jones, Treasurer SFURA Retirees Association Room 211, East Gym Simon Fraser University Burnaby, BC V5A 1S6 Cheques should be made payable to SFURA in the amount of $31.54/person. To repeat: Final date for receipt of reservations: June 1 Cheques should be postdated for: June 15 Date of the event: July 25
