Buddhist Temple and Lunch at Richmond Country Club

Join us for a guided tour of the International Buddhist Society's Kwan Yin Temple . This temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Canada, and it is the most exquisite example of Chinese palatial architecture in North America.
After the tour, we will have lunch at the Richmond Country Club, which is immediately adjacent to the Temple grounds.
When: | Wednesday, October 18, 2000 at 10:30 AM (Note change of time from that announced previously). |
Where: | 9160 Steveston Highway, Richmond. |
Directions: | Travel south along Oak Street. After crossing the Oak St. Bridge, continue along Highway 99. Take the exit for "Steveston" (last exit before the Massey tunnel). Continue west on Steveston Highway. The Temple is on the left (south) side of Steveston Highway, just past No. 4 Road. |
Cost: | $1.50/person, to be collected on the day of the tour. |
Lunch: | After our tour, we will meet for lunch in the Richmond Country Club, immediately west of the Temple. |
