MORRIS J. WOSK CENTRE FOR DIALOGUE
The only known facility in North America purpose-built for convening dialogue, where dialogue practitioners and associates facilitate transformative conversations for international audiences.
PUBLIC SQUARE
SFU Public Square is the go-to convener of community conversations on key public issues. It assembles the hearts, minds and talents of diverse communities to promote inclusive, intelligent and inspiring discourse.
SFU INTERNATIONAL
Our SFU International office spearheads or participates in international development projects around the world that range from reducing HIV stigma in Africa to building capacity for community economic development to training post-secondary instructors.
SFU Surrey - TD Community Engagement Centre
The SFU Surrey-TD Community Engagement Centre in downtown Surrey collaborates with local people, businesses and organizations to share resources, create new ideas, resolve problems and build a more resilient community.
ADAPTATION TO CLIMATE CHANGE TEAM (ACT)
Our Adaptation to Climate Change team (ACT), the only university-based think tank in North America's only university-based think tank dedicated to climate-change adaptation, brings together global experts from industry, community and government to explore climate issues and risks, and to identify sustainable solutions.
VANCITY OFFICE OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
From their downtown Vancouver base, this office engages more 16,000+ people yearly in programs that support knowledge democracy, cultural and community education and community research and partnerships.
SFU WOODWARD’S CULTURAL PROGRAMS
SFU Woodward’s Cultural Programs develops and delivers unique cultural and public initiatives that promote creative community and cultural partnerships in downtown Vancouver, presenting over 200 events yearly.
