Transform the SFU Experience
New portfolio created to streamline campus services

As part of the commitment to improving services across SFU, Ancillary Services, Residence & Housing and Childcare have been consolidated under one portfolio.
Services and staff within each area will remain unchanged and this centralization will enable a more coordinated approach to services for students (Bookstore & Spirit Shop, Residence & Housing, Dining Commons) and campus services (MECS, Childcare, Document Solutions, parking). This enhancement aims to enrich the SFU experience for academic, research and residential life on campus, while also leveraging streamlined operations to ensure a strong and sustainable financial future.
Tracey Mason-Innes from the Student Affairs portfolio will lead this new group as executive director of campus services, reporting to VPFA. Tracey joined SFU 10 years ago as director, residence and housing, and has spent the past five years supporting the Student Affairs portfolio. She has also served as liaison to the SFU Student Society (SFSS).
This summer, Tracey will dedicate time to getting to know staff and leaders within Ancillary Services and Childcare. She will also continue to provide leadership to the Athletics & Recreation portfolio until a new executive director is in place.
Please join Dilson Rassier, provost and vice-president academic, and Martin Pochurko, vice-president, finance and administration, in congratulating and welcoming Tracey to her new leadership role.
