Celebrate SFU's June 2024 convocation

June 05, 2024

The moment is right, the stage is ready, and it’s time to celebrate our exceptional Simon Fraser University graduands.

For many of these students, convocation (June 11-14) marks the first time that they will cross the stage in front of family and friends, as many high school graduation ceremonies were cancelled due to the pandemic.

Graduands from SFU’s eight faculties, which include 364 undergraduate and 149 graduate programs, will join more than 182,000 proud SFU alumni in 152 countries around the world. Many graduating students will have taken part in the finest co-op program in Canada, which supports businesses and non-profits throughout the Lower Mainland, and helps give young people the skills they need for the jobs of today and tomorrow.

Visit SFU's convocation website to find out more information about attending a ceremony, reserving regalia and more. You can also read more about our incredible student speakers and medalists, our inspiring honorary degree recipients and Elder Margaret.

At SFU, we’re extremely proud of all our graduating students and will be sharing some of their unique success stories below. This page will be updated daily before and throughout convocation, so check back often.

If you are unable to attend convocation in person, please join us on YouTube, where you can find live broadcasts of the ceremonies.

Be sure to tag your social posts with #MySFUGrad so we can celebrate with you!
