Increase in reimbursement rate for private vehicle use

In response to exponential increases in gas prices, the university is raising the kilometric reimbursement rate from $0.55/km to $0.61/km.
Faculty and staff who use their own vehicle for official business can claim this new rate starting July 1, 2022. We hope this change will help support you as you continue your important work here at SFU. More information on Business and Travel Procedure rates can be found here.
