From IT Services | Notice: WiFi disruption on Burnaby campus

This message is being sent to all faculty and staff. No reply is required.  

Good afternoon,

SFU’s Burnaby campus is currently experiencing an intermittent WiFi service disruption, which is preventing some devices from maintaining a connection to the SFU WiFi network.

Impact:

• An emergency WiFi outage has been planned for 8:30 P.M. today, February 7, in order to address the issue.
• The outage will temporarily disable some WiFi access on the Burnaby campus for approximately one hour.
• Until this time, IT Services is working to improve WiFi access across campus, where possible.
• Updates will be shared on SFU.ca and Twitter @SFU_IT.

If available, please use a wired connection using an ethernet cable for more reliable internet access.
