From Financial Operations | 2021 T4/T4A Tax Forms Now Available

Your 2021 T4/T4A tax forms, which report payroll payments, are now available online.

For Faculty members who are part of the new BC College Pension Plan (BCCPP):

• You will receive a paper T4A slip in the mail for your pension adjustment information from the new plan.
• You must use the information on the T4A slip from BCCPP, as well as the T4 slip from SFU to prepare and file your taxes.
• If you have questions, please contact Pensions and Benefits at pensions@sfu.ca.

To obtain your tax forms:

• Log into SFU  myINFO at https://myInfo.sfu.ca/ with your Computing ID and Password.

For employees wishing to claim a deduction for Home Office Expenses on their 2021 tax filing:

• Your T2200S is also now available online.  
• Please review the Home Office Expense information posted on the Finance website at: https://www.sfu.ca/finance/news/home-office-expenses.html.
  • This information is provided to assist employees in determining the appropriate employment use portion of workspace expenses and supplies in preparing individual 2021 income tax filings. 

For Students receiving T4A slips:

• If you are receiving scholarship payments from Student Services, obtain a T4A slip by visiting goSFU

• If you are receiving scholarship payments in payroll, a separate T4A slip is issued in myINFO

Please note:  A paper T4/T4A slip will be sent to your mailing address, if you have not consented to view online.

If you have an active appointment:

• You can give your consent to receive T4/T4A online and stop receiving paper slips. To do so:

Please Note:  If you do not see your tax forms when you click on View 2021 Slip, it is likely that your PC or MAC "pop up" blocker is turned on. You will need to turn this off in order for your Tax Forms to appear.
