TSSU
SFU and TSSU finalize agreement
SFU is pleased to share that the university and the Teaching Support Staff Union (TSSU) have reached a formal agreement. The Collective Agreement (CA) has been ratified by TSSU members and approved by the SFU Board of Governors.
Updates to the CA are underway and will be published once completed. This agreement is aligned with SFU’s initiative in becoming a living wage employer, while staying consistent with the Province’s 2022 Shared Recovery Mandate. The CA covers the period of May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2025.
SFU’s Labour Relations team will publish a summary of changes on the Human Resources website which can be referenced in the interim, with further information and training for leaders to come.
The university is thankful to the entire SFU community for its patience during this negotiation process. Our focus now turns to strengthening relationships in our community to support the academic success of our students and to nurture a thriving, world-class research environment at SFU.
