The IPML is a world-leading research group in injury biomechanics. Trainees gain knowledge and expertise in designing and leading laboratory and field experiments, from project inception through to publication. We collaborate with community partners in health care, industry and athletics, and with researchers in other labs in the Department of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology (BPK). SFU is consistently ranked (by McLean’s magazine) as Canada's number one comprehensive University. SFU is located on Burnaby mountain, overlooking Burrard Inlet and the City of Vancouver. The region offers numerous recreational opportunities.
