I am a Visual artist with a thirst for knowledge from different disciplines. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Covenant University, Nigeria and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria. I enjoy creating compelling Character designs, exploring new fields of design and bringing ideas to life.When I am not working, I enjoy consuming creative educational content and working on my fitness.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO COME TO SFU?

Having explored areas such as Engineering, Management and Visual arts, while looking for a Masters program to advance my studies, I was in search for a program that would enable me to apply my knowledge in these various fields and customize a career path in the digital industry. When I came across the MDM program I knew it would be a perfect fit for me due to the program being Project driven and involved talents from different fields.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RESEARCH OR YOUR PROGRAM TO A FAMILY MEMBER?

The MDM program is very project driven and encourages you to step out of your comfort zone. You are exposed to various emerging technologies in the digital industry and trained to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of talents. The program began online and it provided the experience of working with a team I have not met physically before, remotely and from different time zones while working on a project.

WHAT ARE YOU PARTICULARLY ENJOYING ABOUT YOUR STUDIES/RESEARCH AT SFU?

The best part of the MDM program is that we are exposed to talented people from different fields, backgrounds and cultures. We are able to work together in teams and build strong bonds as we tackle real-life projects and problems in the digital media industry.
