Graduate Students’ Mental Health: Current Landscape and Future Needs in Canada Conference
Science & Policy Exchange (SPE) Canada will be hosting a Zoominar titled Graduate Students’ Mental Health: Current Landscape and Future Needs in Canada, given by Devon Simpson, on Tuesday the 4th of August.
Devon is a wellness advisor for graduate students with many years of experience. They’ll be talking about the current situation of mental health policies and resources in academic institutions in Canada and providing recommendations for improvements. SPE will also include ideas brainstormed during a previous event, the SPE Café on Graduate Students’ Mental Health. The content of this conference will also be included in SPE's Café Report, which aims to provide stakeholders and interested individuals with policy recommendations to improve the state of graduate students’ mental health in academia.
The conference is a FREE event and all graduate students and postdoctoral candidates are encouraged to register.
