Tamo Campos
Beyond Boarding
Tamo Campos grew up in North Vancouver, BC. A sponsored snowboarder chasing winter for the last 12 years, he’s now putting roots into both environmental and humanitarian activism. It’s led to the founding of the collective called Beyond Boarding. The collective combines snowboarding, art, storytelling and activism.
In the last couple years their group has partnered with local communities in the Headwaters of the Amazon, ridden volcano craters in Patagonia, taken direct action in the Sacred Headwaters and presented to various high schools across the province. Currently Tamo is traveling around BC with two documentary films in school bus running on waste cooking oil.
