CIHR Doctoral Awards
Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is committed to supporting graduate students through their Health Research Training Award Programs, which includes the Canada Graduate Scholarship Doctoral Awards (CGS-D) program. This program provides support to students who are pursuing a doctoral degree in a health-related field in Canada.

Student deadline to submit the full application on ResearchNet. If the deadline falls on a weekend or on a federal statutory holiday, applications must be submitted before 4:30 p.m. (PST) the following business day. |
November 8-9 |
University Scholarship Selection Committee (USSC) deadline to make final decisions |
November 10-16 | Students who have been selected to go forward can update their applications |
November 21 | FINAL SFU submission deadline |
