Spatial Analysis
The location analysis of Vancouver International Airport ultimately depends on the outcomes of multi-criteria evaluation (MCE) which essentially assigns scores to factors. For MCE module to examine the factors, fuzzy images are required and to achieve this, the ‘fuzzy’ module is used. There are twelve fuzzy images for the fact that there are twelve factors for MCE.

After selecting all these fuzzy components in MCE, weights are assigned to them to mirror their relative importance. Weight assignment can be done with the MCE and / or 'decision wizard' functions; the following image is the result of weight reassignment.
