Introduction

Air travel influences people's lives in numerous ways. It is an innovative transport mode as it allows massive movement of individuals with less time and cost. However, as experienced in the past, getting to an airport can be very frustrating. Despite the convenience that flights offer, it can be time-consuming and it can even be a difficult process to arrive to the airdrome (may be no pain, no gain?). For this 355 project, the current location of Vancouver International Airport is examined using a multi-criteria evaluation (MCE). This assessment not only considers obvious factors that relate to people such as accessibility, but also accounts for subtle concerns, those that associate with nature. The project structurally lays out its background research, data collection, methodology and spatial analysis. Followed by the investigation is an analytical summary , which conveys the advantages and / or disadvantages of the airport. Problems or issues associated with it will be addressed as conclusion of the entire project.
