Exclusion of national parks

National parks also aim to preserve the natural environment. Although there are only a couple of national parks adjacent to the Alberta border, they too are protected areas that have been eliminated from suitable land for the development of a ski resort. The module RECLASS was used to distinguish areas suitable surrounding national parks.
