Methodology

Elevation

Higher elevation is essential for sufficient snowfall during the winter months. The elevation was determined based on an average elevation of a variety of existing ski resorts in southern B.C. The average provided an optimal working model between 11200m to 11700m. Elevation data was collected from the cascadia file by using the RECLASS module to produce suitable elevation.
