MILITARY CONSTRAINT
British Columbia is a province of Canada that does not have an active military presence. Nonetheless, there are reserve units that are home to trained military officers. We decided it would be best to avoid these locations as well.
Military reserve locations were digitized by hand on ARCMap. The file was then converted to raster and imported into IDRISI where buffers were added.
This military buffer map was overlayed with the police buffer map to create a buffer map that we should avoid landing in at all costs.
