Michael is the Senior Analytics and Business Specialist with the Provincial Health Authority working in clinical analytics. He strives to improve data-driven decisions in health care. He is passionate about geography and loves any opportunity to solve complex problems through data analysis.
After graduating with a bachelor’s in geography, Michael extended his time at SFU by taking on a role as a Research Assistant in the Geography department. In this position he contributed to a project which sought to improve bicycle safety along the Sea to Sky Highway.
This involved working with large scale GIS visualizations where he applied the skills taught within his degree and was later able to apply these skills in his role as a GIS consultant, GIS Specialist and his current role as a Senior Analysis and Business Intelligence Specialist.
