About this event
The Faculty of Environment is pleased to invite alumni, students, staff and faculty for an afternoon of environmental stewardship and learning to celebrate Earth Day in our newly created Food Forest Outdoor Learning Space!
Join us as we learn about Indigenous stewardship of food forests, pull some invasive species, plant native species and enjoy refreshments.
- Come prepared for rain or shine, with appropriate clothing and footwear, and work gloves if you have them. We are going get dirty!
- Bring your own water bottle; we will provide refill stations.
Directions
The Food Forest Learning Space is located near the Applied Science Building, north of the Technology and Science Complex 1 (TASC 1). You can find the entrance from the footpath off of Science Rd.
There is nearby parking across the road in the East Parking Lot. If you take transit, the Food Forest is south of the Transit Loop at UniverCity, past Cornerstone and the east entrance of the Applied Science building.
