• Proposal writer, SFU Community Engagement Fund: With Amy Parent, wrote a grant proposal that resulted in $10,000 being awarded to the Faculty of Education for consultations and other initiatives aimed at developing a closer partnership with local First Nations and urban Aboriginal organizations
  Chair, Indigenous Education Advisory Committee: Worked with the Office of Indigenous Education to further develop and implement the strategic vision for Indigenous education in the Faculty (2013-2016)
• Member, Indigenous Education Working Group: Development of a strategic vision for indigenous education in the Faculty; development of a job description and governance structure for an Indigenous Education Office (2011-2012)
  
• Member, Undergraduate Programs Committee: Review of course and program proposals, and discussion of policy and implementation issues (September 2004–August 2006)
