Message of support for those affected by the recent violence in the Middle East

The escalating conflict across the Middle East region in Israel and Palestine affects many in our university community, including Palestinian and Israeli students, faculty and staff, and those with ties to the region.

Earlier today, SFU President Joy Johnson shared a statement extending our deepest sympathies to those affected by the violence in the Middle East.

SFU is committed to ensuring a safe and inclusive community for all. We condemn all acts of violence, discrimination and hate as we work together to ensure safe and secure campuses for everyone.
