Graduate Studies will be closed as of 3:00 PM (PST) on December 24, 2024.
SFU and our office will be closed from December 25, 2024 until January 1, 2025 (inclusive). We will re-open on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
During the closure, you are welcome to submit a ticket or an email, however, you will need to wait until after January 2 to receive a response. Due to the high volume of messages we receive during the closure, we appreciate your patience as our responses may be slower than normal after we return.

Mary offers strategic leadership, management and support within Graduate Studies and across SFU. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing and fostering creativity within program offerings; promoting and ensuring Indigenization, decolonization, equity, diversity and inclusion within regulations, programs and services; advocating for graduate student support; and administering SFU’s Graduate General Regulations. She ensures that graduate students are recognized by SFU when making decisions and setting priorities.

Malcolm primarily works with students and supervisors when there are academic concerns. He works closely with the Academic Graduate Student Support Specialist to organize workshops and other outreach events for students and supervisors. He collaborates with the with our Pro-D and Student Experience Manager, the Ombudsperson and Graduate Students Society Advocate as well as the Center for Accessible Learning.
