Kristy Vail

Kristy Vail is an experienced ICF Certified Coach and career development professional, currently working at the SFU Beedie School of Business. Through coaching and advising, she partners with individuals to develop and sharpen their professional skills, discover new career possibilities, and create positive behaviour change that enhances their self-confidence and interpersonal relationships in the workplace and beyond.

Kristy is also an experienced facilitator with a passion for designing and delivering workshops that foster psychological safety, provoke engaging discussion and create meaningful learning outcomes. Alongside working in career development, she’s pursuing a master of arts degree in executive and organizational coaching at Royal Roads University.

Before Kristy transitioned into the career development space, the first decade of her career was spent designing workplaces and residential environments. While people development is now her primary focus, she remains passionate about the impact well-designed workplaces, home environments and community spaces have on emotional well-being, belonging and more.
