Gordon Zhou
Gordon Zhou is an experienced senior manager with a demonstrated history of leading large-scale capital facilities and infrastructure projects, in both public and private industries. He currently serves as the director of engineering at TransLink, overseeing integration of major rail expansion projects. A licensed structural engineer by profession in Canada and the United States, he is also a program and project management professional that balances technical and business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Gordon shares his knowledge by teaching project management courses at Simon Fraser University and Vancouver Community College. He is also actively involved with the provincial engineering regulatory board, Engineers and Geoscientists BC, where he is currently appointed to the Professional Practice Advisory Committee.
Gordon has a civil engineering undergraduate degree from The University of British Columbia. He holds a master of science in structural engineering from the University of California – Los Angeles and graduated with an MBA from Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business. He has a doctor of engineering, with a focus in engineering management, from The George Washington University.
