Peter Toppings

Peter Toppings has spent his professional career working in the areas of community development and health promotion to advance the health and wellness of individuals and communities. Yet his original passion is botany. Peter spent his youth roaming the fields and forests of Quebec. This love of nature inspired him to complete a BSc in the biological sciences at McGill University and a MSc in botany at the University of Toronto. His graduate thesis focused on the evolution of plant mating systems. He enjoys helping others deepen their understanding and appreciation of our wondrous plant world by leading courses in plant taxonomy and identification.
